Privacy policy

JS Imagery (Jessica Succar, sole trader) respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Contact details: name, email and phone, when you book, request a quote or contact us.
• Booking details: what you booked, the date, time and location, notes you give us, and your booking history with us.
• Payments: card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep only Stripe’s reference to your saved card so the balance (and any cancellation fee under our booking terms) can be charged as you agreed.
• Photos and videos we create for you, and any you send us for your booking.
• Messages you send us through the website or by email.

Why we use it

To take and manage your booking, process payments and refunds, send confirmations, reminders, receipts and invoices, deliver your photos and videos, answer your questions and improve our service. We may send you one follow-up email if you start a booking or quote and don’t finish. Every such email has an unsubscribe link. We don’t sell your information and we don’t share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Who helps us process it

• Stripe: card payments, saved cards and refunds.
• Resend: sends our emails (from hello@jsimagery.com.au).
• Supabase: our booking database and file storage, hosted in Sydney, Australia.
• Vercel: hosts this website (Sydney region).

Some of these providers may process limited information outside Australia under their own privacy and security commitments.

Keeping it safe

Your information is stored with the providers above using encrypted connections, and only we (and staff working on your booking) can access it. Staff and freelancers who work on your booking receive only the details they need for the job, and never your payment information.

How long we keep it

Booking, payment and invoice records are kept for as long as Australian tax law requires (generally five years). You can ask us to delete other information at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or stop follow-up emails. Email jsimagery1@gmail.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies it needs to work (for example, to keep staff signed in). Your booking cart is kept in your own browser until you check out. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
